The Great Smokin' Joe Frazier dies of liver cancer

Frazier, the former heavyweight champion who had a legendary rivalry with Muhammad Ali, died Nov. 7 after a brief battle with liver cancer at the age of 67.

On March 8, 1971 at New York's Madison Square Garden, in a bout billed as "The Fight of the Century." Frazier sent Ali to the canvas with a left hook in the 15th round. Ali got up but Frazier won by unanimous decision.
